Exciting News! Our latest work in Carbon presents a stimulus-responsive, carrier-free prodrug nano-delivery system for enhanced cancer therapy. By designing ROS-responsive SN38-CA@FC nanoparticles, we achieve a synergistic effect of chemotherapy and ferroptosis, leveraging tumor-specific smart drug release. This approach not only enhances SN38’s therapeutic efficacy but also disrupts redox homeostasis, creating a self-reinforcing ROS feedback loop for amplified anticancer effects. Our in vitro and in vivo results demonstrate significant antitumor activity, highlighting a promising strategy for next-generation cancer treatments.
