Re:BioLab welcomes conversations with students, researchers, clinicians, engineers, and industry teams interested in human-relevant models, regenerative medicine, and therapeutic development.
Ways to work with us
Different paths into the laboratory
Undergraduate students
NYU Abu Dhabi students may contribute through research assistantships, capstone projects, independent study, or short research experiences. Useful preparation includes cell biology, bioengineering, microfabrication, imaging, computation, or quantitative analysis.
Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers
Opportunities depend on current funding and project needs. Researchers with complementary expertise are encouraged to explain how their experience connects with one of the laboratory’s research directions.
Academic and clinical collaborators
We are interested in collaborations that connect biological questions, patient-relevant needs, engineered model systems, and quantitative measurements.
Industry partners
We welcome discussions around preclinical model development, therapeutic evaluation, enabling technologies, and carefully scoped proof-of-concept studies.
Making contact
Help us understand the possible fit.
A short, specific message is the best starting point. Please include:
Current role, relevant experience, and a CV or profile.
The biological or translational problem you want to address.
Which platform or research direction creates a meaningful connection.
Location
NYU Abu Dhabi
The laboratory is based at New York University Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, within a research environment spanning the Divisions of Science and Engineering.
Collaborations also connect the lab with NYU in New York, Kyoto University, and research partners internationally.
